Civinettes were interested this year in physi- cally, mentally handicapped, and underprivileged children. Some other areas of interest to them were environmental awareness, the abusive use of drugs, and general community-school assistance. Civinettes were made up of 24- members this year and its officers. Sponsors were Mrs. Martha Wil- liams and Mrs. Dawn Beynon. Civinettes' money making projects were fruit cake sales, car washes, and a talent-fashion show. Their service projects were making Easter baskets for children in the hospital, visiting senior citizens and helping the local Red Cross.
