One of which was the Honduras food drive, for the hurricane struck people of Honduras. All the students showed their concern by bringing canned goods and other food items. Ecology was also the concern of many students. Study- ing how and why pollution happens and try- ing to think up an answer to the problem. There was also time for fun and games, how could they be forgotten. Redlight, or some- times referred to as a Chinese Firedrill, was a favorite of most of the students. Signs and symbols were part of school life. Clubs earned points and showed spirit and sup- port by painting banners, usually done after school hours. lntrodurtionf7

Laughter in the halls and sidewalks rang out memories. All the jokes and good times that kept us going the whole year. The extremes of fashions that perked-up some of the more boring classes and that sparked competition between many. When there was something to do, whether enjoyable or not, there was always someone there to help. Growing plants held many students interest while owning your own car was the goal of almost all.
