With jeff Welshans scoring nineteen points in the final game, he was named to the all tournament team and later was named a first team all CIF selection. Other awards for the round-baller stars included Tod Lychkoff as second team Big A Empire, along with Matt Whieldon and Tim Dewald receiving Honorable Mentions. Showing the depth of the team, captain Neil Hinds was one of four guards who could start at anytime. The turn out for the team was so good this year, that many of the group had to alternate uniforms every game. If the numbers at the I.V. level stay the way they were, you can bet that the varsity program will remain a power- house for many years. Top Left: I.V. guard Artie Mory broke through Orange squeeze.
