Mitzi Rinehart applied makeup on Iudy Airola before performances on stage. A much needed drama workforce was supplied by the uni- versally able-bodied Drama Club members. Having three stage productions this year kept them busy painting scenery, arrang- ing props, and generally making too much noise behind stage during performances. For the profits to be gained, members harnessed themselves behind street vending apparatuses and propelled their svelte bodies around peddling goodies at games. Activities 59

Speech: Quality not quantity Traditionally a large group the 73-74 Katella Speech Club experienced a dwind- ling membership. Despite quantity problem, the club fulfilled its winning image through individual awards. With the possible return of speech next year into the curriculum, the club may see a growing trend.
