The Ger- man Club, with Bob Wagner as president and John Giberson as V.P., took a dinner trip to the Phoenix Club where they sampled Brat- wurst and Kase as well as German films. The main goal of the club was to raise money for a future field trip to Germany. The Span- ish Club, besides electing Caroline Talichet president and Debbie Griffiths V.P., ate at Mexican restaurants where they tried out their Spanish on the waiters. Their trip to Ensenada was the highlight of the year. The French club prepared French dinners and snacks through- out the year. Caroline Talichet, also French Pres. planned for the club to see the I. Paul Getty Museum on a field trip. Alpine Village's spirit attracted Katella's German club. Activities 53

Finding ways to spend their money was a major aim for the club.
