fi f i V' H 'Q .Y Throughout the year the 1974 Class was busy with many different projects and activities. The year started with the ASB Cabinet taking a survey from all the students to find out what they were thinking and what they wanted. Following came the approval for money to build a series of planters for the lunch area to help break the parking lot atmosphere. The Senior Class changed tradition by giving their class gift during the month of February. The purchase of a sound system was made pose sible from the profits of the successful Homecoming Dance. Throughout the year one could notice a difference in the attitude and spirit of the students of Katella, particularly the Senior Class. It was a classic example of a group of kids realizing that this was their last year of school and that they might as well try and make the best of it together! Soon the day come when the Student Park was completed, caping a two year job. Although still far from being completely fin- ished one must agree that the front of the school looks alot better. Finally the big day all seniors had been awaiting for .. . graduation! The end of a long hard 12 year struggle was over with a sigh of re- lieve. Memories can be held and the accomplishments can- be glam- oured as we all look through the fulfilling years of high school.
