Here they were tested and trained to see what they were best skilled in, and then they were given a job. Students were given a new opportunity to express themselves and their ideas. Learning and searching for the answers to science was the primary goal in the Science Dept. this year. Oceanography field trips were taken to explore tide pools at Corona Del Mar. Second semester brought a new subject to Katella, a Horticulture class, which taught students about plants and their care, while using the greenhouse.
