The counseling office emphasized college preparation and planning for college-bound Seniors. Included among other programs was a college finding service, M.G.M. program leadership and a new Regional Oc- cupation Program counselor, Mrs, Griffiths. Among the sadder things to come about next year will be the absence of Miss Sandra Detwiler, who has been at Katella since its opening year and truly earned the reputation of being a counselor who listened.
