MV Daflley talked 0V9f the Tlllefs d9f9n5iV9 alignment- mls Coach Tom Danley felt that 1972 proved to be a rather mediocre season for his sophomore football team. It marked the first season the sophomores did not win the Crestview or Orange League title. A mini- mum of individuals out for football caused a lack of depth, thus exert- ing more pressure on the starters. During the course of the year, cer- tain individuals proved themselves to be almost invaluable. On of- fense halfback Brad Purcha, split end Glen Evans, and fullback Steve hs ...f..- rw- i Mr. Bighead had his first try at coachin the so homores Henderickson played exceptionally well. While on defense linebacker Marty Johnston, and guard jeff Knapp played exceptionally well.
