Key Club provided entertainment for the children's hospital in the form of coloring books and films, showing that good will is never out of style. One of Interact's many projects was the Christ- mas project that consisted of delivering stuffed stockings to Parkview Convalescent Hospital pa- tients. Members sorted, packed, and sent cloth- ing to eastern flood victims. In conjuction with the Rotary Club, Interact colored and hid Easter eggs for an egg hunt for handicapped children. Varsity Club, CSF: Membership for Athletic, Academic Achievers Those boys able to earn a letter in a varsity sport joined the ranks of the Katella Varsity Club. The California Scholarship Federation re- quires that members maintain a 3.50 grade point average. These students earning a 4.00 C-.P.A. for four semesters earned a Gold Seal on their diploma, and the satisfaction achieve- ment. ln a school where sports run a close tie with academics for attention, the race is close and everyone is a winner.
