lndividualit Was Shown Bikers-Bowlers Self-expression was the theme for Bicycle and Bowl- ing Clubs. The opportunity to get together with friends was enjoyable and interesting for the group members. Bicycle, a new club this year, was led by sponsor, Mr. Tozzie. Each Saturday the group went cycling to various spots such as Featherly Park, O'Neil Park, and Irvine Park. Bowling Club was again sponsored by Mrs. Mielak. Monday was the day for improving their skill and talent at the lanes. Knowledge of the sport was gained while a good time was had by all. ,wg .... . French Club and Cirl League Struggled o Overcome Apathy The French Club was ably led by advisor, Mr. Lessard, and president, Carolyn Kent. Through field trips, various aspects of French culture and civilization were introduced to students. Some of the major activities of the year includ- ed outings to French restaurants, films, book- stores, and speakers. Students also participated in the Alliance Francaise de la Riviera califor- nienne, Inc. speech tournament at the Univer- sity of California at Irvine.
