On the negative side, feelings ran from its a bore, a drag, a waste of time, to definite and obvious hate. For some,school was where one had to act tperforml in the way which made it easiest for the administra- tion to run the education business. This usually meant- don't make waves and blend in as much as possible, unless of course, one had some special 202-Closing merit to offer in which case one was allowed to make their school look good. For some of the stu- dents, perhaps more than it was comfortable to ad- mit, school meant that they would continue,grudg- ingly to put in their time at school even though the candy machine may have been visited more often than certain classes. u ,
