Although there were no returning players from the previous year, the 1974-75 team overcame inexperience, injuries, and a tough schedule With a combination of enthusiastic eighth graders and poised ninth , graders, the Badgers ended the season with one of the best won-loss records in Kate Collins history The team found that hard work, enthusiasm, and selfn ndiscipline on and off the court helped them obtain their success this 34. season. The team s purpose is to provide a feeder system for the 9th grade team. Fundamentals and teamwork were two of the most stressed areas in practice. The team consisted of 15 players, 2 managers, and 2 statisticians. John Kxog and Sam Moore led the teamiat guard. Other guards are: Mike Nichols, Ted Barger, Keith Bare, Tim Stinespring, Kirk Bare, and Joe Dillard. Outstanding at forwards were Russell Headley and Darrell Barman. Mike Croft and Doug Goff also did a good job at the forward position. Ricky Benson, Hal Walck, and Rodney Hunt did excellent jobs at both forward and center.
