OPERETTA GAIN this year the annual operetta was sponsored under the guidance of Mr, Albert Huntemann and Mr, Don Carstens, with the dancing supervised hy Mrs. Beth Bardwell. The action of the play takes place somewhere in a small town on circus day. Alonzo Squwezum, a wealthy town hanker, holds a mortgage on the eircus which Toby Dunn, the owner, is unable to pay heeause of a had season. Tohy Dunn had previously become engaged to Sally Squwezum, the hanker's only daughter. For this reason the banker is so enraged that he threatens to foreclose the mortgage unless his daughter gives up the idea of marrying Tohy.
