I-IoMER T. ANDERSKJN Superintendent EARL W. PLATT Principal BOARD OF DIRECTORS Gus Sorenson, Chairmang T. H. Borgwardt, Clerkg Irving Furro, Directorg Dennis Butler, Director, Donald Dargan, Director. R. HoMER T. ANDERSON, Superintendent of Kapowsin Public Schools, came to Kapowf sin from Peninsula schools, September, 1944, where he was grade and high school principal of Vaughn. His first year as high school principal he taught World History and P.E., and was head coach. The next two years as superintendent he conducted a psychology class. This year, with many added duties, he has a fulltime job as the head man. He received a B.A. degree from Eastern Washington College and a B.A. from Wash- ington State College. Coming to Kapowsin from Winlock, where he was coach, Mr. Earl W. Platt assumed the position as football and basketball coach in 1946. He also conducted classes in Woodshop and Mechanical Drawing. This year he assumed duties of principal of high school and head football coach, besides having classes in Mechanical Drawing. SCHooL BoARn This term the school board consisted of five men. The fivefman board is the first one in many years. Under their directing a new grade school will be built within the next two years.
