In 1955 Dr. D. Arthur Zook became President of Kansas Wes- leyan University. Since that time the school has gained full accredi- tation, McAdams Student Center has been dedicated, a dormitory built, and an eighty-five room dormitory addition constructed. All these are evidences of President Zook's enthusiasm, leadership ability, and concern for the youth of Kansas. President Zook's experience as a minister, teacher, and adminis- trator has increased the prestige of our campus. Even more important, is the president's concern for academic excellence and the highest possible standards at Kansas Vifesleyan.
