Attendees enjoy the show by Matchbox 20, who sang their Billboard chart hit Push. Some found Matchbox 20 to be the best band at Music Fest. Hot sunny weather made for perfect conditions for the third annual Iayhawk Music Fest held September 6 at Clinton State Park. The event, sponsored by the Kappa Sigma fraternity, raised 545,000 for local Lawrence charities. Thomas Carrigan, event coordinator and Chapman junior, said, We want to make a good show so that everyone can have fun and enjoy the bands outside, but at the same time it also raised money for local charaties.
