Development ol' con- scientious business leaders is its priniary purpose. The li. School it is popularly calledj ollers ccmniprehensive programs in Business :Xdniinistration and Prolessional .-Xccounting designed to appeal to those who aspire to reach positions ol' nianagerial responsibility, and lor those who are interested in learning business operations. The Bachelor ol' Sci- ence in the Business prograni is oriented around business adtninistration, but students are encouraged to extend their studies to industrial adniinistration, accounting, and secretarial work. The Graduate prograni is divided into two phases: a one-year Masters prograni concerned with proles- sional accounting, and a two-year Masters ol' Business Administration lor those who hold non-business bac- 24 of Business calaureate degrees. This latter program, in its third year, has proved to be quite successful for teaching students to adapt to new situations. lixecutive development is stressed in a program to expand the horizons ol' nien in niajor positions. It is geared to teach the student to be a creative and imaginative businessnian. The Business Placenient Bureau provides one ol' the niost helplul services in the Business School. Graduates niay obtain positions in governnient, indus- try, or business through the l5ureau's contacts with tnany concerns and agencies. Facilities lor interview- ing students are provided the visiting recruiters, lfive-year-old Suninierlield Hall, honie ol' the School ol' llusiness, furnishes the niodern facilities necessary to ineet the expanding needs ol' both instructors and students. llnder the capable lead- ership ol' Dean Kloseph XV.
