The Board of Administration THE University of Kansas, in common with other institutions maintained by the state, is controlled by the Board of Administration, consisting of the Governor as ex officio chairman, three members appointed by him, and a Business Manager chosen by the board itself. The members hold office for a term of four years. The personnel of the present board is: Jonathan M. Davis, Ex Officio Chairman, Topeka; E. L. Barrier, Eureka; A. B. Carney, Concordia; Ernest Underwood, Arrington. James A. Kimball was Business Manager up to the time of his death, January 28, 1923.
