An expanded roll in decision-making and a greater un- derstanding was hopefully achieved. Declining enrollments resulted in reduced funds which created much controversy throughout the year. Empha- sis was placed on the old adage do it right, or don't do it at all . Brad Richardson, activities Coordinator, developed many activities, intramurals and programs. At the state level, Matt Wilson, President of student government, worked with the Regents and legislators on offering solutions to higher education problems. The Gift of Life BLOOD A rigorous class schedule is not the only reason blood is drawn at Kansas Tech. Besides the competition of grades, as well as sport activities, students. staff and faculty are drawn in a spirit of voluntarism-they volun- teered in force to give blood to the Red Cross. ln fact, the Red Cross had one of its most successful stops on the Kansas Tech campus.
