She arrived at the campus ten years ago, with her first view of the school from the bed of a truck. She was an armed forces veteran trying to make the adjustment to civilian life. The staff and students of the aeronautical department made the new student feel at ease and showed her to where she would spend the long hours of classtime. During those ten years, she has been the friend of every student she has met. These students, in return have helped her in any way they knew how. This year she had completed her stay here. After all the long years of preparation she was ready to accept a new job and a new home. On a Friday afternoon, February 6, she was packed for her flight to Seattle, Washington where she would be given her working attire. A large crowd of her friends were on hand to say good-bye and wish her all the luck on her career.
