In Memory On March 16, 1979, David Meneley, a second-year Aviation Maintenance student, lost his life in an air- plane accident. Born September 2, 1959, David graduated from Wa- verly High School in 1977, and would have graduated from KTI on May 20, 1979, with a certificate of completion of the Airframe and Power-plant Mainte- nance program. David was a certified flight insructor with a Multi- engine rating who planned to go on to become an air- line pilot. Students, faculty and staff, especially those in the Aero Department, feel a great loss at David's death and extend sympathy to his family. As a memorial to David, the Aeronautics students and staff constructed a propeller clock and commemorative plaque which hangs in the entry way of the Aero lab.
