While the pursuit of careers brought students to. campus, they filled their time relaxing at Pillsbury Crossing, hunting in the pre-dawn hours or cosmic bowling on Friday nights. Students demonstrated remarkable dedication through community involvement like K-State ' s Big Event, and student firefighters who worked all night and then attended classes.
