' ' DEDIOATION In commemorating the Golden anniversary of the Royal Purple it seems fitting that those who made these 50 Kansas State college year books possible should be remembered. As the years pass by we realize further what the Royal Purple means to us — the picture of a friend we can ' t quite place, o certain memorable Homecoming, profes- sors who inspired us, or familiar buildings. Those who came to Kansas State before us spend many happy mo- ments reminiscing through the Royal Purple. If it weren ' t for our editors this wouldn ' t be possible It was the editors who worked many hours to publish the books. They struggled to get complete coverage of cam- pus events and to meet ever-pressing deadlines. It is to these editors of the past 50 Royal Purples, their staffs, and the two long-time sponsors, H. W. Davis and C. J. Medlin, that we dedicate the 1959 Royal Purple. Charlene Strah
