Confusion, misunderstanding, and distrust are everywhere. Shall your coming merely add to the confusion? Shall you worry away your enerqy in complaint? Or shall your coming mean a new stream of vitality courage, and intelligence flowing into the currents of everyday living? Whether it shall mean the one or the other depends in the final analysis upon you. Be yourself! By the grace of God you are what you are: glory in your selfhood, accept yourself and go on fran there. Create the kind of self you will be happy to live with all your life. The State of Kansas has done its part. God be with you as you make your mark. Cordi al ly yours, Sianley D. th, Litt.D.
