at Dedication A genuine concern for each of her charges .. . a sympa- thetic understanding of their problems . . . a vitality that stimulated and inspired her fellow-workers . .. all of these are part of a devotion to her chosen profession which made her a counselor with the creative proficiency of an artist. Her willingness to share her informal and informative experiences, which glive us a better under- standing of her personality, has een instructive and in- formative to many of us. A native of Johnson County, having lived in Stanley, Kansas all her life, she came to K.S.D. in 1933 as super- visor of the little first floor boys, ages 6 through 10. In 1952, with the opening of Emery Hall, she moved there as supervisor of the little girls. Her retirement this year marks the end of 31 years of faithful service to our school. In appreciation for what she has brought to us we grate- fully dedicate this book to . . . Lodema A. Kellogdg Counselor extraor inaire!
