Parlez-vous Francais? Through the supervision of Miss Keiser, the French students learn more about French life. Early in November, they enter- tained the Letterman's Club with a supper and skit at the annual French Banquet. Each year they sponsor a booth at the National Honor Society Carnival. They build their vocabulary by con- versations and grammar drills. French is open to the whole high school and it is offered in two courses. The Future Teachers of America for the year 1969-70, con- sisted of eleven members. These students became enthusiastic at the beginning of the year and made plans with other schools to have exchange days. The club helped emensely with the Grade School Christmas program by making costumes, helping with the children, and taking care of stage props. This is one activity that the FTA really enjoys doing and looks forward to it each year. Other plans include the Teacher of the Year Award, given to the outstanding teacher who has been more than a teacher to the stu- dents and who is always willing to be of help to them.
