upermten ent s es 5 ag Q Students and Patrons X HA.. sift It is indeed very timely and appropriate that we again publish the Kansas Comet, a very lovely year book for the Kansas School and Community We are fortunate to have the advantages f free public schools in this great country It is with interest and enthusiasm that I express my sincere thanks to all of you who have helped the Board of Education and myself here in making such wonderful improvements from the standpoint of phy sical equipment in the school we have re built the gym floor, and have it in perfect condition, constructed a new roof on the gymnasium, built two modern toilets, installed a very satisfactory water system, and changed our heating system into a modern Butane gas system As time moves along we will increase the efficiency of our school plant All this will be in keeping with modern trends in educational facilities for the youth of our great country I want to express my sincere thanks to the students of our school, both in High School and Grades, for your fine cooperation which you have exemplified so eagerly in every way to help make our school more efficient I congratulate the Seniors, Journalism Club, and Mrs Alexander for the splendid preparation of this very lovely year book.
