Many students find that some emotional adjustment is necessary because of the demanding ' nature of their endeavor. Upper classmen are quick to inform the neophyte that most of his waking moments will be concerned with the structure and function of the human body in health and disease. A friendly atmosphere is encountered by the anxious student which helps to make his stay in Kansas City a pleasant one. The first few days before school are devoted to an orientation f f program enabling the student to meet his fellow classmates, meet the facult and to be introduced to the h sical nlant.
