After finishing Kansas City schools, entered M.U., receiving A.B. and then LL.B. in 1909 from Kansas City School of Law and was admitted to Missouri Bar the following June. He was elected, in 1920, judge of the Circuit Court of jackson County and held oflice until 1927. He has been a lecturer in this school since 1925.
