I I I I I F I I TI-IE JUNIOP COLLEGE OVVAISSA IW GIRL'S TRIO u One of the most successful musical organizations of the Junior College was the Cvirl's Trio, composed of Ruth Frye, first soprano, Iona Klock, second soprano, and Katherine Burke, con- tralto with Irene Bergman as accompanist. The voices blending to afvery unusual degree assisted them in doing a polished type of Work which excited much favorable comment and made them very popular. They developed a large repertoire of both sacred and secular numbers and averaged singing at least one program a Week for the greater part of the school year. With the violin quartet and the Schoolmen's Chorus they sang over W.D.A.F.i, the Kansas City Star,s broadcasting station.
