DIARY The following notes are somawhat of a puzzle to the staff One day when the printer was yelping madly for copy and snone w'as forthcoming one of the scribes saw some papers fluttering out over the campus. On picking them up she found the following items on them. The scribe believing that the diary might belong to some freshman who needed it badly, tried to find the owner and solicited the aid of Charlie Brenneisen, Norman Sortor, and K. Smith, but the owner could not be found. If the loser wants the notes again he can have them by calling at the print shop and identifying them. I IVIonday. No lessons prepared. Looks like a good week. Saw Velma today, . ounce by ounce, pound by pound, day by day, etc. Brandy delivers ora- tion on sense ofduty. To the opirawith I-Ienretta. A good date to take home. Debate tonight. Jack lVIyers quotes list of 25 names for hours. Home with Dot Emerson. Saved two gallons of gas. 1 I Tuesday. Larters thrown out of Art again. Saw Paul Goodwin on 12 street. Nlargaret Naylor wants to go to basketball game. Busy of course. Itlank Kassel thinks. Anna Lynn Dean speaks to me again. Coupe date with Edna Wood ---- She's all right. p , Wednesday Wotta hangover. Home at 10:30. There aint no justice. Thursday. Delphias lose bowling match, thereby proving their inferiority of brawn as well as brain. Date with Lelia Keller. Art Jones was right. Studied' Aenead for moral value. Studied Odyssey for moral value Studied Alcestis for moral value. And so on f ar into the night. Friday. Riley on fifth applesause spree of week. Nlarvin and Dan sit in audi- torium. Spring has come. Tried to get Dillon to tell me what was in my unknown. Said, None of your Bismuth . Ate lemon pie at Polly'S. Wonder why she chose lemon. ' Saturday Slept till noon. Took a bath. Had a blind date. It was Dixie Allen. Oh well. Was high toned by Ruth Stewart, she had a new hat. I'Iepp changes girls again. Heavy sugar. Played tennis with Margaret Beau- mont. No love set. Sunday. Walked to Sunday school with J. B. Sat through church service with I-Iildreth Black, didnt hurt me. Invited to dinner by Dorothy Seitz. Went to the Newman matinee with Iona Klock. Took Mary Frush tS'young peoples meeting. Got her to read True Stories and slipped out. lVIrs. Kasper aud Nlrs.
