THE FILIBUSTER This year the college was distinctive in that its spring operetta was abso- lutely a home production. The Filibusterw, presented by the chorus, was written by Mr. Riley, chorus director, and Roland Rexroth, a student. T The play portrays the usual South American rebellion in the city of Brazuras with Capsillio out to win the presidency and the love of Zola, and President Postulado out to add to his fortunes by marrying Frances Wen.twor'th. I f ADAM and EVA When Nliss Dougherty announced the production of Adam and Eva, a three-act comedy by Guy Bolton and George Middleton the response was better than for anyprevious play. Consequently an expert cast, composed largely of experienced actors, could be selected. The comedy is of the society type, telling the troubles of a man who was married and one who wanted to be and the bargain they reached, 'whereby James Smith put his family in the care of his business manager, Adam Smith while King took a holiday.
