OUR DEANS The door has no number, but every student knows the friendly person who occupies the room at the end of the main corridor-Miss Ruth Cole, Dean of Girls. Having accepted the position of dean just this year, Miss Cole was busy writing permits, applying band-aids, listening to girls' problems and teaching sociology. In addition she was a National Honor Society sponsor, Girls' Club adviser, senior counselor, and sponsor of the newly- formed Pep club. A former general science teacher, Miss Cole is a graduate of the University of Illinois and has an M.S. degree. VVhether her permit be pink or white, a girl always leaves Miss Cole's office knowing that she's had a fair deal from The Dean.
