Good times, yeah, we sure have got them. Maybe it's taken us a while to realize it, but they're here. Sure all those tests weren't the greatest things in the world and the hours of study grew tiresome after a while, but we made it. And all along the way we knew we were doing what was right and best for us, even though half the time we wouldn't admit it. Good times, yeah, we sure have got them. The good feeling that came when we earned high grades, or had a success, no matter how small. And all our friends; people who really cared. We can't forget the teachers either, many of whom would go to great lengths to help us through our difficulties if we would only let them. But so long as we gave it our best we were all right: we could hold our heads high and keep that inner smile. Good times, yeah, we sure have got them. All the ball games, the anxiety, the hopes, the desires; thrills of victory, agonies of defeat. And acceptance. Good times, yeah, we sure have got them. Remember the Prom?, the gowns and suits, the flowers it was all such fun. We've been through a lot together. In a short while, our high school days will be behind us. We'll be drifting apart and perhaps we'll never meet again But, remember the good times. —Mary Wooditch 5
