DEDICATION . We, the Class of 1966, dedicate this HURRI-KANE to the memory of Dalton C. Van Ormer, who from 1929 to 1965 served this school untiringly. Mr. Van Ormer Was loved by his students and admired by his colleagues. He had a broad understanding of education, yet he never overlooked a detail of his school's program, providing strong leadership for every Worthwhile endeavor of both student and faculty. 2

FOREWORD The staff of the 1966 Hurri-Kane has to include in one bound volume all the work, study, and activity involved in school life. No book, however can ever express all the personal experiences a student has as he proceeds through Kane High School. Glimpses into the various classes and organizations will give the reader an idea of what composes our school.
