' .1 Gerald Perry - Secretary BOARD OF EDUCATION At least once a month this group of eleven men meets to determine the direction of education in the Kane Area. Extra evenings are given to committee meetings on education, buildings, athletics, and finances. All this time is given as a form of public service. Whenever the Kane Area Schools have attained heights of excellence, a great part of the credit goes to the Board of Education who, by furnishing the personnel and the materials of education, have made such things possible. First and foremost in America, the destiny of public education depends on the efforts of public-spirited citizens who struggle for continuous improvements in our schools in order that the students may meet the demands of our de- mocracy. Such is our School Board. Sitting, L. to R.: Robert Fees, Peter Chubon, Carold Oakes, Francis Causman, Dr. E. L. Hill, Elmer Larson, james Pear- Ralph De Camp, Fred Zampogna, Gerald Perry. Standing: son, Dr. William Lind.
