The student officers worked hard during the summer attending leadership training sessions for a week at Cispus. They were able to bring back a number of new ideas for getting students working on school spirit and responsibility. The Congress is working toward more active input on school matters re- lated to student activities. Officers have been working with other schools in the area through Inter- High to solve common problems and exchange ideas. A. is made up of 3 main parts, the job, the class and the club. This year we have two state officers from Kamiakin: Ty Haberling - our State President, and Kim Ternes - the Area Vl Vice-President. This year D. E. C. A. has gone to jackson Hole, Wyoming for the Western Regional Leadership Confer- ence and the National Career Develop- ment Conference will be held in Wash- ington, D. C.
