HOMECOMING MEMORIES Serpentine led by the Kubbettes ONE Queen Karen and her attendants from left to right Johnnie W , Dianne Y , Larry A , Karen A Judy A , and Jim M of' allff I 'Tl Beginning of the first serpentlne This year's K H S Homecoming festivities started on the eve of the annual football game This year's foe happened to be the Valley Rams of Kooskia Stites After the serpentine downtown, the student body assembled at the football field where the Rams were burned in eiflgy The next day another serpentine was made through the town trylng to arouse the spirits of the people, reminding them of the big ball game that was about to begin The Kubs twisted off the Rams' horns as they gave them a 19 O walloping in a real rough and tough game played in the rain To climax the day's events was the Alumni Dance The main feature the Homecoming Queen Karen Alt miller, a sophomore, was the lucky girl Her royalty was Dianne Young and Judy Adams, both juniors Each of the girls received a special gift from the football team Music provided by the pep band Valley goes up in smoke! 1 ' U I I ,- ' .
