DRAMATICS Breaking away from the habit of glvlng several class plays, Kamiah produced only two in the last two years Whether it was the lack of interest, or the time, we could not be sure The two plays that were glven, however, prov ed to be successes The graduating class of '42, gave a three act mystery entitled The Yellow Shadow The appreciation of the aud ience more than compensated for the hard work put 1n by the cast and the director April 16, the Senior Class of '45, presented uWho Wouldn't Be Crazy? This lively comedy, revolving around a sanitarium, held the audience's attention for three acts The negroes, played by Calvin Davis and Doris Hobart, were outstanding, although each student did a fine portrayal of his character The senior class wishes to thank the fol ipated ln the play Ronald Bothum Margery Hamilton Lolita Chetwood Fred Harris Sara Jo Gibler Cub Lyons Lee Gorsuch Dean Slmler Anita Hamilton Norman Simmons SAFETY PATROL The Safety Patrol is a state wide organization spon sored by the schools and law enforcement agencies of the State of Idaho Kamiah School Patrol consists of four members selected from the members of the seventh and eighth grade These members must have a certain average in their grades to qualify for patrol membership The Patrol's duty is to conduct the smaller children across busy street ihtersec tions and to see that they are all safely home after school State statistics show that accidents to school age children have become less frequent because of the efforts of the Safety Patrol During the past year, the Patrol has been under the direction and supervision of Mr Hunt, who has proved him self capable of handling this job very efficiently In - - .ll lowing students from other classes who so willingly partic-
