e girls' locker room is just as ecial as the boys'. For a lot of . it's almost a bedroom - we have all r stuff there: outer clothes, under- othes, shoes, socks, deodorants, ow-driers, brushes, you name it, all ored away in there. And the best ing is that you don't need to put any i it in your locker because nobody eals anything. We all have lockers, t our bags, clothes, and books are ually on the benches, shelves, tables, d floor. And in charge ot this whole enagerie, believe it or not, is a man. ennis. gotta hand it to Dennis. lf you're ew, he'll scare you. He looks mean ut really he's not. gotta hand it to Dennis. A lot of the girls ecome good friends with him through heir seasons. He is like a mother to ome of us. lf we forget our socks or ractice clothes, Dennis has extras for s-without fail. Not only that, fter practice he watches and scolds you you don't turn your clothes right ide out. lf you're hungry, he always as something to grind in his refrigera- or. Besides providing us with food nd clothes, he also has an awesome ound and T.V. system. At times, he ractically turns the locker room into i theater. He even rents all kinds of ideos for us to watch before and fter practice, and we never have to sk what's playing because it's right p there on his chalkboard. Last but ot least, he has a separate TV in the eeting room just for the girls who are fter-school soap fanatics. Now that's igh living on our part . . . and pure iceness on his. Above: Part of Midkitt T.V. Studio's electronic equipment, you ask? No way, Kihei. This is barely hall ol Dennis Ragsdale's locker entertainment center. The wires lead to speakers, consoles, T.V.s, and who knows what else. Left: Some of us worry about weight. Some of us worry about height. Annie Williams, who has no problem with the former, checks for unexpected gains in the vertical column. Don't forget, now, you've got at least an extra inch of shoe height.

HRILL AND AGONY By: Kaleo Ahai, Kalani Lorenzo, Teri-Lynn Young and Momi Lau Practice, respect, and love To play a sport it takes determination and hard work. As a young boy I've learned that practice, respect, and love tor what you are doing will help you to become a successful person. Playing football for The Kamehameha Schools has been my child- hood fantasy. l would always watch Warrior football teams of the past go undefeated to opposing teams. My rookie year on the Varsity Football Team gave me the chance to learn from my teammates. I considered them my brothers and l gained all I could from my coaches. Each day we all learned new things, whether it be a new play or a new joke. We shared our experiences as a team. When my season ended earlier than expected, l thought ot the chance I missed not being able to give what l could. The values from my coaches and teammates will never leave me. -Mike Kauhane Rightt Boogie down Leilani Rio! - the marching band always thrill their audiences, sometimes they even surprise themselves at how well they can do!
