luwehi Ka 'Iu 0 Kaiona because of an overwhelming number of hula-eager kamehameha students, a second halau was formed this year. the women of uluwehi ka Tu o kaiona learned the hela, 'uwehe, kaholo, and bmi, and gradually advanced to such hula as ka wika and halau hana1ei. under mapuana desilva is guidance, and with the help of graduates mele watkins and manu coleman kaiama, the club grew in love and understanding of our native dance.
