ha ' aheo o kamehameha the pride of kamehameha. we the pupils here at kamehameha schools, are proud of our many opportunities, we take pride in our hawaiian heritage which has taught us many things such as the old hawaiian halau dancing, canoeing, playing ancient games, and singing, each year we are proud to demonstrate what we have learned at song contest, makahiki, ho ' olaulea, and ilh competition, we now look to the future, but we are careful not to turn our backs on the past. top right: kehau kamanao, coquette lee, tammy sabanal, and jarnell shichida practices the ancient halau dancing, above: some freshmen girls display their dancing during the ho ' o- laulea competition, left: a fourth grade class plays some hawaiian games passed down from their ancestors.
