founders day founder ' s day is a time when kamehameha students reflect on the past through traditional songs and dances, previously only the high school division came together in honor and remembrance to pay tribute to bernice pauahi bishop, their founder, but last year marked a change in tradition- the entire student body from keep to high school came together to ex- press their gratitude to princess pauahi. this year, 1980, was the second year in which all schools joined together as an ohana on december 19 for founder ' s day. i r i
