homecoming 1980 the week of October 14-18 was filled with a lot of spirit from each class, resulting in the success of homecoming 1980. the week opened up with the performance of the tupapa-maraerenga cultural arts company from the cook islands, as the week progressed, each day was a certain dress up day, and various competitions were held amongst classes, tuesday was class color day; Wednesday- nostalgia day with after school activities held on konia field; the closing assembly on friday, blue and white, with the juniors gaining the most spirit points to earn the spirit spear, the spirits of homecoming carried through to that week ' s football game with kamehameha defeating damien 10-6, and also to a successful homecoming dance with a halloween dress up. right: kimberlee kuoha gets her uniform together for a big game, below: Stanley bejgrowicz and albert seamster fumble together to get to the finish line, bottom left: liana neff and Joanne noa hook up for the homecoming stand up mass competition, bottom right: pia kamakahi gets down with mog .
