Promising much for Ka1nehameha's future junior varsity and varsity basketball teams, the ninth grade team corn- bined their talents and added to them a generous amount of desire to win their own championship, going on to do just that. The city championship was theirs after a hard- fought final game with Punahou, which they won 52-49, after Finishing the regular season with 9 wins and 3 losses.
