Hawaiian Clubs The Hawaiian clubs of Kamehameha consist of those industrious students who learn more about and preseive their Hawaiian culture. Through various activities ranging from detailed research to a large luau, Hui Oiwi, Hui Malama 0 Hawaii, and the Junior Hawaiian Club convey the old and modern Hawaiian cultures to the rest of the students, in addition to enjoying social activities which their clubs sponsor. The purpose of the language clubs is to give its members a better understanding of foreign languages and cultures. The Spanish, French, Russian, Latin, and Japanese clubs have achieved this goal through, among other things, the presentation of guest speakers and films. The members of the language clubs have eagerly accepted and sought after additional knowledge of these languages. The observance of Language Week climaxed the clubs' activities as each of the members shared his knowledge with his fellow students.
