Members of the 1964-65 Junior Red Cross Committee showed their willingness to help those in need by baking cookies and making favors for local hospitals and homes for the aged. One of their biggest projects was the making of CARE packages for poverty-stricken areas of the world. SECOND ROW: Wanda Ching, Pamela Perry, Eliz- abeth Makuakane, Esther Williams, Ellen Haasenritter, Vanda Wallace, Deborah Adams, Donna Srnythe, Tina Ing, Aileen Sanborn, Healani Kaauamo. Girl Scouts Cook-outs, hiking, camping, and nature study are all a part of the KS Girl Scouts program. Troop 1 has long been a part of the many extra-curricular activities on the Girls' School campus and this year has onlybeen one of many prosperous ones for the scouting troop. Not only is scouting an organization for learning nature skills but it gives the girls a place to have good, healthy, worthwhile fun. The combination of learning and fun has brought many hours of pleasure for the girls in scouting.
