To kick off the Aloha Week festivities, the Hawaiian clubs at the upper schools partook in the selling of Aloha Week ribbons, and to the delight of many, Hui Oiwi and the KSG Junior Hawaiian Club held their hilarious, unforgettable initiations. On Friday, students greeted the Kamehameha Campus attired in gaily printed muumuus and Aloha shirts. Students were allowed to be lazy Hawaiians for the day. Highlighting the Aloha Week festivities were the reign of our own Hartwell Kaeo Prince of Aloha Week and the Mene- Aloha Week h B ' , CG , 59 , une a at which students had to turn small to enter. l: ounder's Day Each year the students of Kamehameha gather in solemn tribute to honor the memory of our beloved benefactress and founder of our schools. Two serv- ices are held, one at the Royal Mausoleum, and the other at the school's field house. In both serv- ices, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bish- op is remembered with songs, scriptures, and speeches of praise and honor, as she most assuredly deserves. Each Christmas season at the Kamehameha Schools Campus is filled with joyous holiday spirit and livelihood. One of the most enjoyable activities at this time is the annual Christmas Dance sponsored by the Student C'ouncils of both upper schools. Students also enjoy a festive dinner, fun-filled Christmas parties, and the traditional Christmas Music Festival held at Kekuhaupi'o. This seasoxfs celebrations ended to the tune of Silent Night as the senior boarders caroled on both campuses. Christmas My toe! Students enioying the Christmas Dance.
