The driver vainly tries to outsmile the girls. A royal smile. Pep Rallies and Homecoming Two of the most important and most fun-filled activities in which all students participated during football season were the pep rallies and our first Homecoming celebra- tion. Every other week, the stu- dent bodies of both upper schools gathered at Mawaena Field to cheer on the Warriors and to en- courage school spirit for the forth- coming games. For the first time, Kamehameha was honored with a Homecoming Court who reigned over the Homecoming activities. Queen Leolani Seigfried and her escort, John Sabas, represented the Kamehameha schools with dignity and stature.

United Fund Drive The United Fund Drive held annually on the Kamehameha Schools Campus was highlighted by a very successful talent show that took place in the school's auditorium. Among the performers were many of Kamehamchais own talented students in- cluding the Lawmen and KSG's Aala Park Gang. Also, there to help swell the contribution buckets, were Hawaii's own Muriel and Sheila Tilton backed by the Deacons. The show reaped a grand total of 848570. In addition, the student bodies of all three schools donated coins and thus con- tributed generously to the drive-'s success. The LAW--men. Hail! Hail! The gang's all here.
